Assignment Week 1!

Hey everyone!

Welcome to WB3 week1!!!

Assignment 1:

5 value sketches in greyscale, accompanied by all your thumbnail sketches on one page.  Include an additional 2-3 reference pages with each sketch, so I can see what you were inspired by.  What I'm looking for is a basic vision of the world you want to create and a finished level of detail is not necessary.   If you can't decide what to do, design an environment that could exist in your favorite movie or game, but does not exist yet.  Make sure that your pages are laid out in a clean way, so it's easy to read.

If you have any additional questions, you can email me at aaron.limonick@gmail.com.

Thumbnail Examples (you can even use less value than this on the thumbs if you want)

Sketch Examples:

Painting Examples Don't necessarily try to match my exact finish quality, just do the best you can in the time you have.  I don't know everyone's experience level, so if these are too finished for you to complete this week, that's ok.  I will show you how to do things like this quickly using textures and photos, but it's perfectly fine if you don't get there week 1!
